Scope
This policy explains how Zyvar handles personal information submitted through zyvar.ca. Local Zyvar sites and separately identified services may provide additional notices when their collection and use differ.
Zyvar is developed by Nevara Ventures. References to Zyvar, we, or us on this page include the organization responsible for operating this website.
Information we collect
We aim to request only the information reasonably needed for the purpose presented.
- Contact inquiries may include name, email, business, community, and message.
- AI Visibility Notes requests may include email and an optional name.
- FastResponse enrollment may include a business notification mobile number, the business account and listing it serves, consent status, the consent language/version presented, timestamps, and audit information needed to administer the SMS notification feature.
- Basic technical and security information may be processed to operate the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures.
- We do not ask visitors to submit passwords, payment information, health information, or other sensitive personal data through public inquiry forms.
How information is used
- Respond to an inquiry or requested conversation.
- Process a request to receive AI Visibility Notes.
- Administer FastResponse notifications for an enrolled business recipient, including consent, delivery, opt-out, support, abuse prevention, and audit requirements.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
- Meet legal, accounting, security, or regulatory obligations where applicable.
Consent, email, and SMS
Public forms require an affirmative consent choice. A request for AI Visibility Notes is separate from a request for personalized monitoring or paid services.
Educational email recipients will be given a practical way to unsubscribe. Operational messages needed to complete a request may still be sent when appropriate.
FastResponse SMS is optional and requires a separate affirmative consent from the enrolled business recipient inside authenticated account onboarding. Zyvar records the consent state and related audit evidence so that SMS delivery can be disabled when consent is withdrawn or revoked.
SMS message frequency depends on relevant inquiry activity. Message and data rates may apply according to the recipient's mobile plan. Opt-out and help instructions are provided as required by the applicable messaging program.
Optional website analytics
When enabled on zyvar.ca, Google Analytics loads only after you choose Allow analytics. It measures visits and page activity so we can improve the site. No thanks keeps optional measurement off. You can change your choice using Analytics preferences near the footer; see the Cookie Policy for storage and withdrawal details.
Google processes analytics information for us and may process it outside Canada. Our integration does not send contact details, inquiry messages or form-field contents as analytics data. We remove query strings and fragments from our page-view URLs and limit page names to known website routes. Browser and consent restrictions mean analytics will not count every visitor.
Service providers and disclosure
Zyvar may use carefully selected hosting, email, messaging, customer-relationship, security, and infrastructure providers to process information on our behalf. They receive only the access reasonably required for their role.
For FastResponse, a telecommunications or messaging provider may process the enrolled business recipient's mobile number and messaging metadata needed to route and operate the SMS notification service.
We do not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a legitimate organizational transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
Storage, safeguards, and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and service. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, operational needs, dispute resolution, security, and applicable legal obligations. Retention periods may differ by record type.
FastResponse message content and related operational records are subject to service-specific retention controls. Zyvar's current product design targets short-lived message retention while preserving only the consent, audit, security, and compliance evidence that must be retained longer.
Access and correction
You may contact Zyvar to ask about personal information associated with you, request a correction, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify identity before completing a request.
Some information may need to be retained when permitted or required by law. Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide a requested service.
Policy changes
We may update this policy as services, providers, or legal requirements change. The current version and last-updated date will be published on this page.
